virasat foundations

Virasat Foundation, founded in 1995 by Parul Zaveri and the late Nimish Patel, promotes traditional wisdom in contemporary architecture. Rooted in decades of practice, it researches and applies indigenous materials, technologies, and crafts. Realizing the gap in architectural education, it launched the Unknown Craftsperson (UCP) Trophy in 2010 with NASA, fostering hands-on learning and reviving traditional building knowledge.
