Kanineeka Foundation was established in 1997 by Parul Zaveri and late Nimish Patel to promote and increase awareness in holistic way of life, education, alternative methods of education and healing to set up models of sustainable practices/communities.

The Foundation aims to be part of the positive emergence of community-based initiatives aiming to restore degraded ecosystem, repairing the fabric of communities, and also develop and revive traditional sustainable adequate ways of life.

Objectives 

1. To promote holistic living processes
2. To promote holistic and environmental education processes
3. To promote integrated sustainable rural and urban development
4. Establishment and/or run Yoga Kendra for welfare of human society.
5. Distribution of free food and clothing to the poor and needy.
6. Sinking of well and /or setting up Parabs wherever and whenever there may be scarcity of water.
7. Subscriptions, contributions and/or donations to any public fund or institutions established for promotion of public charitable objects.
8. Establishment, maintenance and support of library, museum and reading room for advancement of education and knowledge as in general and the supply of or support to gardens and other facilities of public health and recreation.
9. Support of blind, decrepit, orphan, diseased and handicapped needy persons.
10. To impart education and knowledge to children (as we were doing and wanted to do for Kanineeka) in a holistic manner, which becomes a confluence of Eastern and Western philosophies, cultures, arts, knowledge, traditions, sciences, etc.
11. To impart education and knowledge to children, in a holistic manner, removing the divisions of subjects like Art, Culture Literature, History, Geography, Sciences etc. and make them see the inter-relationship of each as is in the real life.
12. e.g.: In a simple thing like making a pot, Art, Geometry, Physics and Chemistry are integral part of it and should be taught to children in that manner for better understanding, growth and retention.
13. Give an exposure to the philosophies, arts, cultures, knowledge, traditions religion, literature, Sciences etc. of both Eastern and Western Cultures through literature, audio visual equipments, courses, discourses, seminars, workshops, etc.
14. We have access to such materials of different countries and cultures from different parts of the World, like Eastern, Western, Mayan, Mexican, South American, North America, Australian, Aboriginal, and African, Islamic etc., which we want to share with children
15. Make necessary educational material for individuals as well as mass communication as required through print, audio and/or visuals, films, etc.
16. Make Children and adult aware of their responsibilities as a citizen of this country, and as a member of their school, society, community, and as human beings as well.
17. To make children open to any new theories, ways of thinking, etc. and give such exposures.
18. Give spiritual exposure of different types to children and adults.
19. Have health-oriented courses, programmers, to make children and adults healthier human beings.
    We want to do all this, not as a school, but as a centre which can give these services / exposures to different individuals, schools, institutes; here and abroad in their premises, or/and at our premises through memberships, courses, lectures, etc.
20. Producing materials; borrowing from different organizations; inviting people to give lectures, conduct seminars, workshops etc., and sponsoring people to do the same elsewhere;
21. Giving scholarships to deserving children, for similar courses.
22. To receive funds, donations, in form of money, material, time or in any other form from other institutions, individuals, trusts, professionals or others, from India or abroad.
23. To collaborate with other trusts, institutes, centers and foundations for such work, in India, or abroad.
24. Buy/print /publish reproduce or create material for distribution to spread the message/knowledge in all Indian and other Sciences, Spiritual and Environmental issues.
