Abhikram has been honoured with numerous prestigious awards that reflect its dedication to sustainable design, heritage conservation, and architectural excellence. Among the many accolades the firm has received are the IIID Anchor Award—Regional Winner in the Sustainable Interior Design category (West 3: Gujarat) for Samsara Luxury Resort & Camp in Dechu—and the Aces of Space Award in the Architecture – Hospitality and Leisure category for The Tree of Life Resort & Spa near Jaipur. Abhikram’s heritage conservation efforts have also been recognized with IIA–Kitply Conservation Awards for the restoration of the Northern Wing of the Ranchhodlal Chhotalal ni Haveli in Khadia, Ahmedabad, and for conservation work at Amber, India. The firm, along with its founding architects, has been honored with numerous prestigious awards over the years, acknowledging their contributions to sustainable architecture, heritage conservation, and contextual design. In 2018, Nimish Patel was conferred the Raja Kakil Dev Award for Excellence in Preservation of Heritage and Architecture at the Annual Sawai Jaipur Awards, held in memory of Late Sawai Bhawani Singh. In 2016, Abhikram was recognized by the Government of Gujarat with the Spirit of Sabarmati Award, celebrating its pursuit of responsible architecture rooted in the Indian context, with an emphasis on passive human comfort systems and the revival of traditional decision-making processes. In 2022, Parul Zaveri received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Architects and Interiors India at the Ace of Space Awards, and in 2020, she was also felicitated with the Stellar Women in Design – Ahmedabad 2020 Award by BOHO Homes on International Women’s Day, for her work in architecture and interior design that prioritizes both nature and heritage.
