The resort has two types of rooms, the Guest Suites and the Deluxe Guestrooms. The Guest Suite is inspired by the Peacock, a bird considered sacred and auspicious in India. In Rajasthan, especially Mewar region it is depicted in various forms and we took it further by blending the traditional and contemporary forms through various mediums of art, craft and materials such as wall art, stone and wood inlay, cutwork in wood, metal and mirrors, soft furnishing, hand block and screen printing. The theme colour is essentially the shades of green, blues and gold as extracted from the peacock feather with added accent of colour like pink, orange and rust.
The Deluxe Guestroom is inspired by the sun which is of great importance in Mewar as the erstwhile rulers ‘The Maharanas’ belong to the Sun dynasty, the oldest surviving in the world. The art and craft work celebrates the sun in brass metal cut work for the luggage rack, wood and acrylic inlay for wardrobe shutters and door panels, granite inlay in marble for the table, in the traditional thekri or mirror work and also soft furnishing. Brass sheet framing is also used for the doors and side table and beaten brass is used to embellish the bed head board.
