In the interiors of the Exclusive Patient Wing, two distinctly different options of ambiences, the Classical and Scandinavian, were created as per Rao’s brief through the use of local traditional arts, crafts and textiles. They are reflected in the elements like the openings, the flooring, and the toilets as well as in the screens, the furniture, the soft furnishings, the paintings, the lighting, the artworks etc. Local craftsmen were also used in development of textiles and other interior aspects to make the ambience more contextual as well as exclusive.
